Community & Belonging

Spaces where identity breathes freely

Across Ireland, Black LGBTQI+ people navigate spaces where race or queerness is continually questioned. We are laying the groundwork for peer gatherings where every part of your heritage is held with care.

Rooted Presence

Shared culture beyond borders

For Black Irish individuals, mixed-race families, and second-generation queer people living outside Dublin, isolation often compounds quickly. Cultural gathering is not a leisure luxury; it is the fundamental infrastructure through which people exchange wisdom, sustain emotional health, and affirm their everyday belonging in Irish society.

Our developmental circles explore how regional meetups, creative collaborations, and intergenerational dinners can flourish safely. By centring Black African, Caribbean, and mixed-heritage queer realities, we construct a lasting social fabric that resists tokenism and honours the nuanced truth of who we are.

Safety and Discretion

Every gathering begins with confidential care and attendee dignity.

Because safety concerns remain acute for many community members, all pilot circles operate with private venue disclosure, peer-led facilitation, and strict agreements around photography and identity disclosure.
